Distribution of CoralHue™ Fluorescent Protein Resources
With the generosity of Medical & Biological Laboratories Co., Ltd. (MBL), 88 items of CoralHue™ fluorescent protein resources were deposited to RIKEN BioResource Research Center (BRC). On September 28, 2020, we will start distributing these resources as they are ready to be shipped. For details of each resource, please refer the attached table and the home page. These resources will be distributed to not-for-profit academic research conducted by universities and national/public research institutions at normal fees without license fee to MBL. In addition, we will distribute these resources to commercial entities and to for-profit-use at non-profit organizations after these users obtain an approval from MBL in advance.
These resources include large numbers of functional fluorescent protein resources developed by Dr. Atsushi Miyawaki Laboratory, RIKEN Center for Brain Science (CBS), such as (1) fluorescent proteins with various wavelength characteristics, (2) photoconversion type that changes color by light irradiation, and (3) photochromism type that can control light emission and extinction and can be used for super-resolution imaging. There are also a series of resources that can visualize various subcellular locations.
We are looking forward to receiving many requests for these resources from you.
For questions regarding the fluorescent protein resources, please refer at the attached table or the home page, and contact the Gene Engineering Division (dnabank.brc@riken.jp).
