High molecular weight DNA is prepared by phenol-chloroform extraction. The DNA is suitable for amplification by PCR. The concentration and purity of DNA samples are determined spectrophotometrically following electrophoresis. DNA concentrations generally range from 50 to 100 ng\/\u03bcl. (The concentrations of individual samples are supplied with a data sheet.) The DNAs are stored in TE buffer (10 mM TRIS pH7.5, 1mM EDTA) at -30<sup>o<\/sup>C.<br \/>\nFor DNA from mouse strains not on <a href=\"#list\">List of DNA<\/a>, please contact us. <\/p>\n<p><b>Attention International Transfer &#8211;<\/b> &#8220;Veterinary Permission&#8221; or &#8220;Permit to Import Quarantine Material&#8221; may be required for shipment of the biological materials. High molecular weight DNA is prepared by phenol-chloroform extraction. The DNA is suitable for amplification by PCR.
