Resource data sheet

Genetically-encoded fluorescent calcium sensor cDNA, G-CaMP6.

Catalog number RDB14609
Resource name G-CaMP6
Clone info. Genetically-encoded fluorescent calcium sensor cDNA. It encodes a fusion protein of EGFP, calmodulin, and the M13 peptide from myosin light chain kinase. G-CaMP6 is high-sensitivity and fast-responsivity calcium sensor that reliably monitor neural spikes with larger fluorescence signals and higher temporal resolution.
Expression was confirmed by the depositor with calcium imaging.
[Data sheet:]
Vector backbone pEGFP-N1
Size of vector backbone 4.7 kb
Selectable markers Kan^R (E. coli), Neo^r (mammalian cells).
Classification plasmid
